Gracefully Gathered

This dress has a simple high-waisted bodice that closes in the back with an invisible zipper. The skirt has 4 slightly gathered tiers.  Sleeves have a ruffle option which makes them longer and more suitable for winter. This dress is shown here in a medium weight corduroy fabric, but it's also available in our cottons. If you use the Other Fabric option you can get it in almost any of our other fabrics, really heavy fabrics that don't suit this style.

Shoulder measurement should be basically the same as your actual body measurement (so it doesn't fall the shoulders).

The chest should have 2-6 inches of extra room for wearing ease or growing space.

Length is changeable with a price increase, it's not uncommon for slender girls to add 10 inches to the skirt length. 

Ties are a great option for insuring a good fit.

It works best to base the size off the shoulder and chest measurements and add length as desired. If you need more adjustments, just call us and we can make those changes, it typically works best in those cases if you place your order over the phone.
